but also the shadows of the cars and the fact that you couldn’t park those cars on soft dirt without disrupting the grass or sinking into the ground a little bit, plus the fact that usually grass next to water doesn’t look like that unless it’s on a golf course

Linux@programming.dev•My week with Linux: I'm dumping Windows for Ubuntu to see how it goes
6·8 months agoUbuntu is such a weird beast IMO. As someone who mostly uses Windows but works a lot in Linux, I’ve always instead recommended Linux Mint to people who are switching from Windows. it feels a lot less quirky and hand-holdy. TBF it’s been quite a while since I’ve tried a fresh install of Ubuntu, but the last time I did it really reminded me of Windows 8 or Windows Mobile. Way too much like a phone OS out of the box.

Haiku will soon shine. The distro that all will love. … actually no.
