I’m not sure that is what they are advocating for. They have VAC which doesn’t require kernel level access. If anything they will probably advocate this and that anti cheat can work without root level access.

I had posted a question on there over 8 years ago. I got a notification the other day that someone answered it. Then an hour later someone closed it saying the question was off topic lol. It really wasn’t btw, but this is what makes stack overflow such a shit site and why it’s been on the decline for years. Even before LLMs.
