This. Recently I took a deep dive into the controversies from both sides. It is a little difficult to piece things together because most of Linus’ more detailed replies came from old WAN shows, but I can say with certainty now that it’s incompetence and miscommunication.

If anything, my opinion on Linus stayed about the same and my opinion on GN went way down. After a certain point I couldn’t help but feel that either Steve just really hates Linus, or he was trying to drag his reputation enough for GN to snatch a larger piece of the tech YouTube pie.
