If you haven’t seen it yet there is CachyOS if you want something Arch-based. I have been wanting to try it but for now I am still using vanilla Arch on my desktop and my laptop.

OnlyOffice is supposed to be better than OpenOffice for Microsoft documents

I think it has been a feature since around 6 months after launch of the Steam Deck but it’s not well known and widely used feature.

Fun fact: SteamOS comes pre-loaded with Distrobox so you can install whatever packages you want.

I did it once, wrote down all the commands I used in order and then made my own install script. It was a great learning experience
