I just realized I had forgotten about drive letters altogether.

linuxmemes@lemmy.world•Why just play on Linux, when you can also play on another Linux
3·25 days agoThis looks like me. You could also substitute Rocket League for the big bar. My GPU fans haven’t turned on in a while…
Who says he stopped
You can write your bash scripts to do this, too.
The book doesn’t actually have blank pages. Page 2 is marked 145.

Programmer Humor@programming.dev•What are some of the worst code you have seen in a production environment?
1·2 months ago#4 is a good thing. ORMs do not make queries better or safer, they make them easier for devs that don’t learn SQL or safe calls. In some cases, they have been shown to cause slowdowns.
Yup. Never understood the Bing hate, they got better years ago. DDG is a source in my SearXNG instance, does fine.
Interesting. I will test my laptop woth Firefox tomorrow, see if there is anything janky going on that would make it work.
I currently have it working with Chromium web apps, Thunderbird, and Element.
While not all functions work, they do a lot of things in Wayland.
xdotool search, xdotool winactivate, xdotool windowsize, xdotool windowmove, xdotool keyup, andwmctrl -rall work fine, and my “move to” script (that positions all my windows on startup) works in Wayland using those.
Can’t you still script it with
wmctrlandxdotool?
Not only did the British invent imperial, they only halfway switched back. America just takes all the fire for it.

I don’t for the most part, I’m not sure why my response would make you think I do.
But yes, I agree with your point. Maybe this comment was meant for the main post?
“Other people don’t so why should I.”
This meme is terrible.
What? This is made up. Go to the Ask Linux community and explain where this is happening.
Funny seeing this as the first thing in Top as I am missing my flight connection due to it. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

1·3 months agoI might beat you to it. I’ve got Kiwix running in docker, just did a PR to the
kiwix-zim-updaterso it can run in Docker on a cron schedule next to the server, and have spun those up with Karakeep (self-hosted web archive I use for bookmarking).Right now I’m adding a ZIM list feature to the updater to list available ZIMs by language, and then I’ll move on to OSM.

5·3 months agoDo you recommend adding anything else to it?
For instance, OSM maps?
I’ve been thinking about running the Kiwix app + OSMAnd on an old Android phone and auto updating it once a year.

My poor gam.
