Shit, if I had known that I might have actually done it this year

Every time you say “obviously” to an assumption, someone else gets the job.

332·2 months agoIt wasn’t intuitive before, either, without making an absolute ton of horrible assumptions.
- Are the wires even connected?
- Does only one switch control the light?
- Did the light start on or off?
- Is the light bulb in arm’s reach?
- Can I bring my friend and just yell to each other?
- Can I just leave the door open and see whether it turns on or not?
- It says I’m allowed to visit the bulb room once but never actually mentions the switch room - do I start there? Can I go back after visiting the bulb room?
- And, as you said, what type of bulb is it?
Anyone who doesn’t explore the assumptions should probably fail that particular interview question.
It sounds like The Hand is inevitable, so you’d just be dooming everyone else in your tunnel/bunker/whatever when it collapses. If anything, I’d argue we’d spread out a bit more to avoid collateral damage.
You’re not breaking a solid core door with a kick unless it’s well-placed and you’re trying to break it. Most of those still aren’t $300 in your link.
What the fuck is your door made of? If an angry kick breaks it, I promise it ain’t $300
Yeah, you listed lots of the valid reasons that I was talking about. There’s no need to dilute your argument with idiots like this
People cut off body parts with saws all the time - I’d argue that tool misuse isn’t at all grounds for banning it.
There are plenty of completely valid reasons to hate AI. Stupid people using it poorly just isn’t really one of them 🤷♂️
Dumb take, even if you broke up. Those were real experiences that shaped you, and you probably wouldn’t be the same person if you had slept instead.
Don’t regret past lovers, accept that lots of things in life are temporary, and that’s okay.

2·6 months agoYeah, mostly agreed. In my experience so far, an experienced dev that’s really putting time into their setup can greatly accelerate their output with these tools, while an inexperienced dev will end up taking way longer (and they’ll understand less) than it would have if they worked normally
Either, eggs are amazing in all forms… but those are both overcooked.

The heavy-handedness of that absolutely terrifies me, but at least it asks for confirmation first.
