Your first mistake was using Ubuntu on a production server. Canonical has made more than enough questionable decisions over the past decade that using Ubuntu for a production system should be a red flag.

Eh, not really. We have only very recently cracked the code to getting him to eat any veggies aside from cucumber. Before that he would usually just eat meat, fish, potatoes and rice. Anything green would lead to drama. We showed him Popeye and how the spinach made him strong. Now, anytime he eats his veg he gets to “pick me up” and throw me on the couch. It’s been three weeks and he still likes doing it so, fingers crossed! 😄
How old is yours? Mine is nearly 4 and has figured it out. It helped that, when we went on vacation, the supermarket sold complete chicken with the head and feet still attached, and cow tongues and pork feet and things. We even pointed out a pig brain for him to look at. It also may have helped that is favourite food is snails, mussles, squid and small fish with their heads attached (fried anchovies, he calls them eye fishies). All pretty recognisable on a plate!

It really depends on your workflow. I use a tiling extension and 9 fixed workspaces. I have no need for dash-to-dock. I reassign a bunch of hotkeys to make working with 9 workspaces easier, but the rest is all Gnome defaults and it works just fine for me.
Came looking for exactly that epic story 😄

That’s something completely different. If it’s super sour it’s probably something like a rolmops. Also referred to as sour herring. It’s very different from the fresh raw, slightly pickled herring.

If you’re ever in The Netherlands you should really give it a try. It’s great!

Nope. It’s raw fish (herring) with raw onion. The pickles are optional (and regional). You eat it by holding the tail, dipping it in the onion and then lifting it above your head and lowering it in your mouth: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/3/31/Haring_03.jpg/1280px-Haring_03.jpg

Use https://github.com/IsmaelMartinez/teams-for-linux
It’s superior to a PWA. Better desktop integration, and when you click on a link it opens in your default browser!
Yeah, all the good parts of Ubuntu have been backported to Debian years ago.

Thanks, i’ll take a look at those.

What extension do you use?
Maybe you need to find a job with better management…
Yes, that’s what I meant as well 😄
Story points = hours just makes sense though. Even if your team doesn’t do it, then everyone will do it in their head anyway. Especially management. But everyone will have a different formula so you start arguing about how many story points something is. Just do it in the open.
Get the container extension for Firefox. It’s far superior to using multiple profiles.
Google and Amazon will have the same problem with their “Sovereign Cloud” nonsense. The sooner it becomes clear to everyone that you cannot put EU citizens data on a US cloud provider, even if hosted in the EU, the better.
All the good parts of Ubuntu have long since been integrated upstream. And Debian’s release cycle has increased a lot so you’re not stuck with old versions anymore.
Switching can be hard sonetimes. At work we still have a few Ubuntu 20.04 LTS machines that need to be replaced.
