I learned this the hardway with ffmpeg… In my defense… Their documentation IS huge !!!
Kinda interested if &1 would also work in this case?

Why would “non-tech-savvy seniors” care what version of the Nvidia driver is installed?
Maybe he still loves playing games? 🤷 And sometimes new GPUs and drivers can be a bit tricky and buggy !
Debian being unusable due to old packages
Yeah… Debian is probably the most stable distro I’ve ever used ! I even forget it’s installed on my server sometimes and that APT is the package manager xD
They know exactly what they are doing… Some dopamine hits for the road !

fix(frontend/location): preserve parent location when using “Create and Add another”
That’s a nice QOL improvement, nice ! Good job !!
Not a single word about Hamachi? What a banger software… Playing LAN games with prople over 1000km away.
Nowadays, there isn’t any LAN option in games anymore and most need a full internet connection to even start the game… Luckily there are still people doing the heavylifting allowing pirates games to still work (online-fix) with friends.
Yep I do miss too the old WAN parties :)

Thank you to everyone working on homebox ! Can’t wait to see the better Tags update whenever it’s ready !
I also hope an option to switch between AND/OR capability for tag searching.

Yeah… Can you tell me where to change this? This article is not very clear, who, where or what… I’m running headless Debian 12 and can’t even find any variable related to org.freedesktop.udisks2.modify-device or any polkit rule in /etc/polkit-1/rules.d/.... and not even a PolicyKit package installed on my system (polkit?)…
The only thing that comes close is /usr/share/polkit-1/...
Edit:
I guess this is a wrong assumption:
udisks ships by default on almost all Linux distributions
udisks2 is not even installed by default on my debian 12 system.
Isn’t RedHat who pushed systemd? Most init enthusiasts hate systemd ! Dunno if related tho. I’m just recently into linux so I never had the chance to give the init system a try !
However, I’m an opensource and free from corporate shit software lover. Try to avoid everything related to corpo (Redhat, Ubuntu…). That’s exaclty the reason why I’m reluctant to give Fedora a try, even though it seems kinda a good distro !
Debian as server distro EndeavourOS as daily drive
After digging a bit the rabbit hole I’m still not sure I understand… But this issue is mostly related to portables devices (Laptops, Steam deck…), battery mangement and legacy BIOS?
After going through this written blog post that’s what I “understand”.
Another reason to hate Bill Gates !

Now I understand what peak means… Season 2 so far was a total banger ! I rewatched all the current episodes thrice…
However, the last episode fight was not as good and way to speedy… Could have been a bit longer and more impressive. The first few episode fights were mind blowing.
Story wise I’m very curious where it’s heading and I’m afraid to read the books :/
Thanks for the clarification :)) still new the all the bash syntax and always interested to hear what more skilled people have to say !
