Because the fall of capitalism is unlikely to be peaceful and attacking core infrastructure like the Internet is a tactic that either side may wish to use in an armed conflict. Not the best reason, maybe, but there it is.

It says “priestly caste called businessmen”. Ergo, for that to be a thing of the past, there need to be no more businessmen, not no more USA.
