It’s graphene bro. There’s nothing this thing can’t do, excepting send/report any non required type of telemetry.
This is a better UI vs liquid glass.

I do not use Arch, but I can appreciate a Trekkie having such a wonderfully specific reference handy. Well played.
It’s been some time, but the biggest pain point for me on X11 was 4k@144hz. Short of some xrandr tweaks I couldn’t manage to set, Wayland immediately worked perfectly.
I suspect I ran in to x11’s limit in that case.
Wayland is the one thing that fixed a whole shit-ton of my problems overnight and now I find out nobody wants to use it under any circumstances.
¯\(ツ)/¯ Alrighty then
I use Linux Mint at work and Pop!OS at home. Sorry to disappoint.

… And waste an opportunity to type on my ludicrously expensive mechanical keyboard?

1·6 months agoIt beats the alternative of Microsoft’s support forums where thousands comment for weeks straight INCLUDING paid Indian “representatives” who ask for user diagnostic tool output, copy/pasting the same reply eleventeen thousand times a day, on a post from 8 years ago BUT not a single person has ever posted their solution EXCEPT “I reinstalled Windows.”
The average Winblows user doesn’t even know how to lock the screen without using their mouse or touchpad. Don’t give me that “It’s hard for people” bullshit. Most people can barely handle recognizing icons, which are the same regardless of OS.

Little did we know that their long LONG term plan was actually “EmbraceIncompetence, ExtendBlueScreens, ExtinguishSelf”
