Why are people acting like this is some big problem that Manjaro caused. Everything they warn about is just stuff caused by upstream stuff. X11 causing issues for some users cause it’s outdated, wayland fixing a bug involving the package manager meaning you have to run a special command to fix it, and a backup utility of some kind being borked upstream. None of that is Manjaro’s fault.
Feels the same whenever a project is written in python, but I uninstall it too.

It can be done, but only if the service your trying to use makes all of its requests using a specific port. There’s no way to do it with a reverse proxy to my knowledge though. I’ve got both my email and my blog at myname.tld, for example. I just had to configure both of them with DNS.
If what your trying to do is have all requests for one port be directed to another port… your out of luck. I’ve been trying for ages to have nginx forward all 443 traffic on proxy.mynane.tld to 30018 and 80 traffic on proxy.myname.tld to 30024 but no luck so far.
No fingerprint login. Its frustrating that in all cases I can use my fingerprint instead of a password except when booting up my laptop.
Also, QOL and stability features would be nice. Buttons that dont work shouldn’t be visible, for example, and getting a useful error message from many apps can be a headache.
Recently, I had a problem where amy app using electron suddenly stopped working at all. When ran with the terminal, it showed 2 errors, neither of which told you how to fix the issue. Eventually I figured out that using flatseal to force all apps to use wayland fixed the issue and made things smoother as well.
