Lol no I’m describing the difference between socialists and liberals. Socialists of all stripes were anti capitalist and rooted in working class movements and anti capitlism. Marx had the most robust and scientific understanding of the liberal political order.

Ok so based on that you should realise that every political party follows liberal economics. Hell even most conservative parties in the west pretend to stand up for liberal rights.

The right have been a more or less hegemonic force since the 80s. There is a reason why I spend hours online. The reason why the right can do all this is because they get paid to. That’s why going outside and doing things in real life is important fund raising for example is very important. You can also donate to lefty content creators that you like. Currently a bunch of them are getting cancelled or demonetised thanks to their support against genocide. The fact that they’re slowly making a comeback is actually pretty cool and gives me a small slither of hope sometimes. If you just want an easy ride then join one of the billionaire parties, the pay is better and you’ll have to work less.

To show people that you actually care about them and that a political project is important enough for you to get your ass off the couch for. Yeah lots of people died but the cultural revolution and Great Leap Forward but it has been over for 50 years now, meanwhile how many millions of people have had their lives ruined by US sanctions or wars in the last 70 years? Imperial countries export their misery so that people like you and me can live nice comfortable lives. Meanwhile we point at other countries who were deliberately impoverished for our benefit. When leaders in those countries try to take back their wealth they’re assassinated, when trade unionists try to organise to give the workers better rights they’re tortured and then assassinated. Yeah as I said let’s see I think most people are underestimating the scope of the situation and idk if we can industrially develop our way out of this, so far the only proven method of lowering our co2 emissions was lockdown. When I was in 8th grade some people from China came to my school and they had this offer to go to this thing they called a „leadership camp“ or something in China I had to submit an essay and I was accepted but it was pretty expensive so I ended up no going, looking back I what it was exactly I just remembered this today.
