On regular Fedora 42->43 broke (or forgot to change?) a few SE Linux rules for me, so that I got constant notifications about violations. Otherwise it’s been rock solid so far.

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealthfollowed bysfc /scannow…wait. no… That’s the correct way. The MS MVP in the forum always mix it up and tell you to run them in reverse…

672·17 days agoYou see, the problem is, that you try to open the Terminal on Windows Home or Pro. Personal use doesn’t include advanced features like Terminal access. Please upgrade to a Windows Enterprise License to continue to be able to use the Terminal.
Alternatively you may try using Copilot to run commands and change system settings in a text based environment.

I needed to use a code block for that address as several apps had a problem when I tested escaping the back ticks in the address for the inline code. Not sure if you mean that as it renders in it’s own line or if anything else is broken
A plus sign? That’s nothing, LOL

13·2 months agoYeah, but HTML5 needs a webbrowser that may have an Adblocker and then you cannot do tracking and you „cannot“ earn money. Also all (client side) features are potentially available for anyone and anyone can provide userscripts to improve your webpage for free.
If you wrap it in an App, it’s against the DMCA (or your local equivalent) to reverse the App and disable the tracking. Or make a better version, or enable some features that are purely client side and you just decided to paywall into a subscription to earn more money. Or generally do anything that might hurt your current or future profits.

It’s was even easier - KDE showed a notification, I clicked it and got a pop-up telling me about the violation and the commands to fix it of this behavior should be allowed. I could never copy&paste them from there. But yes, checking journalctl every once in a while is a good habit.
Since it was nothing that really prevented me from using the PC (e.g. virt-manager getting a violation when I shut down a VM), I reported it and waited for a bit if they’d resolve this and then just ran the commands after a two days without fix, because I wanted to get rid of the notifications
