Mine’s not connected to the internet so I’m utilizing the if it ain’t broke don’t fix it strategy.

Yeah, as far as i’m concerned that’s about the only acceptible thing to have come up that isn’t an application you already have. If I want internet results or files, I’d be using the appropriate browser for those.

Why? I use the start menu reach for every app that’s not on my taskbar. How else would you do it?
IDK about Google desktop but everything searches my entire 40tb of files on my pc and file server instantly. I cannot recommend it enough. I use it combined with FreeCommander for file management stuff.
It’s in the system tray. The same spot you’d look first in any OS.
in linux you have options provided you don’t jump feet first into an immutable distro intended mostly for gaming.
I’m curious what options you think OP is missing in Bazzite for resolving this issue.
Yeah, I get wifi devices over bluetooth wherever possible. Bluetooth is ass.
Yes, that is what the wrench is for…
Nah, I’m not dressing up for shit if I ever manage to free myself from corporate hell.
He’s way overdressed for that.
Yeah, the amount of times I ignored tasks I didn’t want to do and had them just disappear in a few weeks is actually insane. Occasionally I’ll have something come back and bite me but in those cases I’ve just been like “Oh whoops, that one fell off my list” and then I do it, but for the most part it’s frightening how little it seems to matter if I do my job or not.

just sit on the fucking bathroom sink
Well now everyone at work is looking at me funny.
I spent probably 5-10 minutes trying to figure out how to get into the old “add a printer” thing from control panel so I could manually install a USB printer for someone yesterday. The new version in settings was presenting a list of every device on the network (corporate environment so 100s of devices) and doesn’t even have a search field. Completely fucking useless.
That pisses me off as well. It works fine on Windows 10 so somebody fucked that up along the line somewhere. There’s no excuse for it.
I use Freecommander with Voidtools everything for searching on Windows. it’s nice.

Apparently not. I know how to do it but it didn’t work. I spent 2 days troubleshooting and asking for help on their discord but got nowhere.

I only get about 7 minutes out of mine but that gets it through most power outages.
