I know Chinese people in my city, but it’s not the same as talking to people LIVING in China, surely you understand that?

Sure, when I save enough to visit China in a few years.
There are Chinese people here, surely their opinion is more trustworthy than yours. If you’re gonna propagate conspiracy theories at least do the work of sourcing it. Finally, I’ve met Venezuelans who celebrated their own country being bombed, I’ve met Cubans encouraging brutal sanctions against their own people, same with diasporas from every other country that’s not a US neocolony or vassal. Them having roots from a place doesn’t mean they’re necessarily informed. If you meet them in the west then your sample size is people who left and people who were born to people who left. Many diaspora communities are literally connected to far-right dictatorships, militias, counter-revolutionaries and so on and on. But I’m sure your opinion matters more than the opinion of Chinese people living in China, chauvinist.
Oh please, don’t rob yourself of your time, you’re not adding value to the conversation anyway
I met people from China who unlike you understand their government is a proletarian democracy (which is different from a liberal democracy in many ways), you can even meet Chinese people here who’ll tell you that their government is democratic, but it’s not THAT hard to learn about a system you don’t understand by at least watching YouTube if you don’t have the patience or habit of sitting down to read.
I haven’t been to China because I’m poor and on the other side of the globe, have you been there yourself? There are nice videos by tourists that show that China is just… a country. Very advanced, great infrastructure, but not what you seem to believe it is.
The reason is that liberal democracies are dictatorships of capital, where the elites have massive power over who even gets to run as a candidate, what ideas are acceptable and so on. We can’t win in this system because the system is rigged from beginning to end, and even when we do miraculously win we can get our elected officials killed and replaced. Look at what they did to Salvador Allende in Chile.
The game is rigged in such a way where one party can simply be extremely exploitative and violent and the other party can be 99% the same and sometimes win by saying “we’re not THOSE guys”. You need money for campaigns, so you can’t realistically threaten billionaires, and if you do betray them they won’t have any qualms getting rid of you illegally.
It’s not our collective fault, or purity testing, or whatever else, it’s the system working as intended for the people who pull the strings, just look at the people in the Epstein files and notice that both parties engaged in the debauchery, look at how Bernie was betrayed by the DNC, and so on and on.
But hey, if purity testing is not being okay with genocide or invading and bombing people in the global south I’m glad there are leftists who do purity testing.
How much time have you spent studying the Chinese system?
Most white people opposed the civil rights movement back in the day.
All good, hope you have a good weekend

Things generally get worse with every election, especially when Republicans win, but just because ICE didn’t boast about its terror under Democrats it doesn’t mean people weren’t kidnapped, even children. ICE funding increased constantly even under Democrats.
Economic sanctions imposed by the US kill over half a million a year. Do our deaths count less because we’re abroad? Your government has been terrorizing the global south ever since it was capable of it. I know people who lost relatives under the last US backed dictatorship in Argentina. My grandparents lost several friends, disappeared, taken away.
We don’t have the patience to treat all of you with silk gloves. But no, the vast majority of us don’t desire your civilian population to be terrorized, we don’t want more war, we want you out of our countries so we can organize and develop and be sovereign. And believe it or not, terrorizing us is and has always been bipartisan.
Do you know that this crisis is only fueled by material conditions, based on illegal international sanctions? That sanctions kill over half a million people worldwide? That despite sanctions, Venezuela’s economy started recovering and that’s when their president got kidnapped?
I’m not claiming the Islamic Republic is popular, I don’t like the Islamic Republic, but literally look at what happened in Iraq and Afghanistan and Libya! That’s gonna happen to you and your people if you allow for a regime change. The reason why many Iranians prefer their current, bad government over the regime change is because they understand this.
There needs to be an end of all sanctions so people like you have a space to breathe and combat your government in your own terms, so that instead of ravaging the country and selling it for scraps to western capitalists you have a sovereign government with better funded services and more freedoms. The idea that the people who are still carrying out the complete extermination of Palestinians, the people who turned Libya into a slave market, could even INCIDENTALLY care about you is not grounded in reality.
I wish you strength for what’s coming, you don’t deserve any of this to happen.
Purity testing like not doing genocide, not doing economic warfare or regime changes

Even though the protests were initially peaceful, if you’re a foreign government looking to do a regime change in Iran, not capitalizing on these moments makes no sense. They knew sooner or later there’d be civil unrest, that’s the whole point of the sanctions, and I believe that’s why Mike Pompeo believes wholeheartedly that Mossad is there.
There isn’t a source saying “I’m Mossad and I did this”, but there’s an analysis by the Jerusalem Post on the involvement of Mossad on Iran.
