I need Microsoft Word for freelancing and I don’t want to pay $100/year for M365.
It’s really the only thing keeping a few of my friends and family members from switching.
Yeah, I could spin them up a VM and do some RDP trickery, but these aren’t super technical people - the friction would mean emergency tech support calls that I’m not ready to answer.

The trick is to use your PTO all at once and be out for a week or so - everything falls over and it reminds your boss how you’re the only thing keeping it all together.

Ah, I see your problem, you need to add
--no-preserve-root.See the French are super into wine - and grape vines are notoriously hard to get rid of, so if you want to really get rid of the French language pack, you need to rip that grapevine out by the root (e.g. don’t preserve the root). Otherwise, the French language pack will just grow back harder and Frenchier than before.
