sudo tasksel install desktop kde
sudo tasksel remove desktop gnome
should switch the DE from GNOME to KDE.

Iirc, at least the text installer (I’m not a fan of graphical installers, thus I can’t tell about those) asks if and which DE it should install. You can choose between Gnome, KDE, XFCE, LXQt, and others.

As @solrize@lemmy.ml already mentioned: Download the python 3.10 source tarball from python.org, unpack, compile and install it. Then run the python3.10 binary with the venv option in the path where you want your venv to be created. By this, the created venv is configured to use the desired (3.10) version of python, not your system’s default version.
The wires also bend the light which makes the stars not look like points but gives them prongs.

It also worked back on Windows 7, perhaps even XP.

In case you’re dual booting, it’s useful to also tell Windows that the system clock is UTC (if your Linux assumes this as well) like described here: https://ubuntuhandbook.org/index.php/2021/06/incorrect-time-windows-11-dual-boot-ubuntu/amp/

Yes, afaIk, the solution is to set some parameter, like HardwareClockIsUTC, in the Windows registry to true. However, OP doesn’t mention running a dual boot machine.
Usually I want to run things
daily, weeklyormonthlyand systemd timers make that very easy.
While crontab also has keywords for @daily, @weekly and @monthly, the automatic logging of systemd is useful and your example shows that it additionally allows to specify delays. I don’t know how anacron handles the latter.

Some devs with stong opinions have forked X11:

Fortunately, Debian bookworm will get updates for several years to come.
Iirc, the problem with i386 is that many fundamental libraries and applications no longer officially support the architecture so the Debian team would have to do a lot more debugging.
Ah, ok. I somehow got that wrong.
Isn’t one usually interested in the speed relative to the ground?
The Pitot tube doesn’t work as the ballon is moving (more or less) with the wind, i.e. both pressure tubes, the one for static pressure and the one for total pressure, in the Pitot tube experience (almost) the same pressure, resulting in measuring (almost) zero dynamic pressure and thus velocity.
For KDEkonnect to work, both devices have to be paired and in the same network. QR codes work even over an air gap and for transferring information to others.
Your journal output might be too curated, I don’t see anything that would keep the display manager from starting up.
The only suspicious entry I’ve found was #185:
sddm[1596]: Failed to read display number from pipe
FWIW, it could be GPU related, but that really just is a wild guess.
Skimming search results onto the above error message seems to second your idea.
Yes, from the Mozilla PPA. One may also want to prevent snapd from being installed again by pinning it with a sufficiently low negative priority.

Of course one should avoid using the originally provided GTK software under KDE, as it’s also spamming the app drawer.
It should work the same as for the Ubuntu -> Kununtu transition: Install some KDE Plasma desktop metapackage, logout and login using KDE, then remove the libgtk* packages to uninstall the Mate/Cinnamon desktop and it’s associated applications. One can reinstall the desired packages, e.g. Firefox, Thunderbird, Synaptic, afterwards.
Someone has bent the lid of the hdd, the other side you’re seeing is the reflection on the disc surface
For me the shadows and reflections look consistently and reasonable. E.g. the reflection of the metal arc on the right hand side ought to appear thicker than the metal of the arc due to the perspective.
No idea what it’s for, but I’ve already seen that in an hdd I’ve opened.
Ps: the downvote is not from me
